Each year in February, the Napier-Looby Bar Foundation ("NLBF") hosts the Barristers’ Banquet and Awards Program, its signature fundraising event, in celebration of Black History Month. This is an event where the Nashville legal community and larger community convene for great food, good music, a phenomenal speaker, recognition of outstanding achievements and, most importantly, fundraising . The revenue raised from the event enables the NLBF to award scholarships to deserving students and to fund charitable efforts of the organization throughout the year.

This event has always been a success, and this year will be no exception. The theme for this year's banquet is "Embracing Diversity...Commitment Beyond the Commentary." We anticipate over 250 attendees, including members of the Nashville Bar, the local judiciary, elected officials and a broad cross section of citizens of the community.
